Meet Our Staff
Belinda is our Practice Manager; she had previously been with Russell Dentistry for 22 years. She comes from a medical background as a Medical Assistant and furthered her skills and education in Business Administration and Accounting.
On a day to day basis Belinda manages our daily operations and human resources as well as overseeing the TMJ/Sleep Apnea medical aspect of our practice. She is passionate about the success of our practice and takes pride in the team’s dedication to providing the quality of care our community deserves.
Belinda enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling and going on new adventures. She has two sons and four grandchildren; she loves spending time with family and absolutely loves doting on her grandbabies.
Alyssa joined the team in April of 2006 as a dental assistant. She became the front desk manager in July 2011. She serves as the liason between the many insurance companies and the patient. She is diligent about billing the insurance companies in a timely manner, following up on claims when necessary, and answering all patient questions and concerns.
Alyssa lives in Rochester, WA, with her husband and four children. She enjoys camping, spending time with her family and friends, and supporting her children in their various sports and other activities throughout the year.
Sleep and Pain Coordinator
Allison comes to us with twenty years of experience in dentistry. After graduating from the Dental Assisting Technology program at South Puget Sound Community College in 1998, she worked as a dental assistant before moving to the administrative team as a patient coordinator. Allison loves being a part of the team at Russell and Bode Family Dentistry where she oversees the schedule for the doctors and hygienists.
Outside of the office Allison enjoys raising her 16 year-old daughter and hiking the Pacific Northwest. She is crazy about traveling the world, running, and loves a good wine tasting event. You may run into her downtown shopping for the perfect new vintage-inspired fashion or a quirky antique for her home
Jennifer obtained her Associate of Arts Degree in Dental Assisting from South Puget Sound Community College. Jennifer has over fifteen years of experience in the medical/dental/legal fields. After years of assisting the dentists in a variety of tasks with patients, Jennifer has become the patient care coordinator of the office and the administrator of our dental sleep medicine portion of the practice. She is responsible for marketing, scheduling, records management, medical billing and reception services. Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding in hot-rods, kickboxing and crafting. Jennifer prides herself in always making the patient feel right at home and makes sure they leave with a smile. “The most enjoyable thing about my job is that I enjoy making people love their smile.”
Shaelyn has worked in the dental field since 2018. As the Patient Care Coordinator, she is committed to make sure all of our patient’s administrative needs are met and that everyone feels welcome in our office.
Outside of the office, she enjoys trail running and camping with her husband or visiting her two kids who are both away at college. In her free time, she serves the community as a member of Thurston County Search and Rescue. If she’s not hiking or running the trails, she’s volunteering with local trail maintenance groups to keep our trails accessible for years to come.
Patient Care Coordinator
Becca grew up in New Jersey and has been on the West Coast since 2005. She graduated with a degree in elementary education. She brings to our office over 20 years experience in the dental field including dental assisting, front office and lab support. She has a passion for health, wellness and ensuring patients feel comfortable in the dental setting.
Outside the office, Becca is active in the yoga community and teaches and participates in hot yoga classes. She is an outdoor enthusiast and loves to go hiking, camping and kayaking. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her fur baby, Lucky.
Judy has been working as a dental assistant for Russell Family Dentistry for over 30 years, originally starting with Dr. Russell Sr. In 2009; Judy went back to school to get her Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary license. This license allows her to place fillings and take final impressions for Dr Russell. She really enjoys doing restorative care on the patients and finds it very rewarding. Outside the office Judy has three grown girls and two grandchildren whom she spends a lot of time with. Judy also enjoys reading, golf and spending time with her family.

Sonya completed the Dental Assisting program in 2005 and immediately began her career at Dr. Bode’s office. In addition to assisting, Sonya manages the inventory and marketing of the practice.
She was born and raised in Olympia and also has a CNA and Medical Assisting Degree. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, camping, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and friends.
Sonya prides herself on her ability to comfort the most dental-phobic patients and help alleviate all their dental stress. “I can fulfill my dream of helping people and pursue a profession that I am very proud to work in.”
Katie joined the Russell and Bode team in 2015. She is dedicated to quality patient care and excellence in dentistry. She enjoys being outdoors, going on hikes, and spending time with friends and family.
Hannah has been a dental assistant for 15 years. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but her favorite thing about it is taking care of her patients ! ” Coming to work everyday , it doesn’t feel like work , it’s not something I feel I have to do but rather something I get to do!”
Jainee graduated from South Puget Sound Community College with her Associates in Applied Science and Dental Assisting Degree. She enjoys being a part of a practice that gives back to the community, provides excellent service and where she can continue to learn in the dental field. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities like camping in the summer and spending time with her fiancé, family and dog, Nala.
Liz is gentle and knowledgeable.
Sarah has been in dentistry for the past 15 years. She graduated from a Dental Assisting Program in 1999 realizing her desire to help patients and her love for dentistry. She then went on to become a Registered Dental Hygienist with a B. S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in 2007. She joined Dr. Russell’s practice in June of 2013 and has quickly become a part of their dental family. She is dedicated to helping improve her patient’s oral health while educating them on how it relates to their overall health and well being.
Sarah enjoys spending time with her family. She has two young boys that keep her really busy. They enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and anything outdoors when the weather permits. When the weather isn’t as cooperative she loves eating good food with friends and family, playing games and puzzles with her kids, and reading almost anything. She looks forward to a long career as a dental hygienist. She prides herself on her ability to make patients feel comfortable in the dental setting and alleviate their dental fears.
My name is Amber and I am a new transplant to Olympia. My boyfriend and I moved here in June 2021 to be closer to his family. I was born and raised in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. I attended the University of Alaska Anchorage where I graduated with my degree in Dental Hygiene in 2011. I enjoy all things adventure especially traveling and exploring hiking trails. At home I enjoy testing out new recipes and given any downtime you’ll find a book in my hand.

Shannon has worked as a hygienist for over 10 years and looks forward to a long and rewarding career for many more years to come. She began her journey into the dental field at Clark College in Vancouver and has practiced in both Montana and Washington State. She enjoys building trusted relationships with her patients by providing optimal care and education tailored to each individual. Patients say that her calm demeanor and easy going attitude puts them at ease and helps to make their appointments pleasant experiences.
Shannon loves to spend her free time with her husband, young daughter and their many fur babies. They also enjoy camping adventures, boating and family game nights. On the rare occasion you might find her out on her own, you would likely find her out to lunch or at Target!
Tracey has been in practicing dentistry for the past 9 years, graduating from Eastern Washington University with her B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She continued on to receiving her M.S. in Health Education in to further her passion and commitment to overall health. This passion and commitment lead her to become involved in the Seattle King County Clinic, where she is part of the dental leadership team to provide care for the community.
Tracey enjoys building rapport and relationships with her patients to provide oral health care in a friendly, inviting and safe environment. She says that the best part of her job is to bring a smile and confidence to someone’s life, even if for one day. She is excited to continue to work with all of our patients to provide specifically designed care to achieve and maintain ultimate oral health care.
When Tracey is not at work, she is spending time with her family. Being from Olympia, she has several family members in the area and enjoys attending all events from her nieces’ sporting competitions to celebrating birthdays and graduations. She also enjoys taking her dog, Tucker for walks and taking in the breath-taking scenery the Northwest has to offer.
Jennifer has been in the dental field since 2010. She started out as a dental assistant, then graduated from dental hygiene school at Pima Medical Institute in 2014. Upon graduation she was awarded the Colgate Star Award, an award that focus on extraordinary compassion towards her patients and enthusiasm for community service. She continues to incorporate both of these services in her care for her patients, striving to have patients feel safe and well cared for.
Jennifer grew up in Olympia, and continues to enjoy calling Olympia her home. She enjoys family camping trips with her son and husband, and leisurely strolls with them at the end of her day. If she is not working, she will either be in the kitchen trying a new recipe or outside working in her yard, trying her hand at gardening.
